A fruitful dispute
Our office was founded almost a hundred years ago, on September 15th 1930. Its founder, lawyer Dragoljub M. Đorđević, was born in Zaječar in 1897. As one of the top lawyers in his class, Dragoljub obtained the Royal scholarship and graduated from math in France. Upon the graduation, he returns to the home country and as a very young man becomes a professor on the Merchant Academy in the Hilandarska street.
Having collided with the Academy management, Dragoljub leaves the job of a professor and in the shortest time finishes his law studies at the Univeristy of Law in Belgrade. In 1925. he is an apprentice in Duško Ilić’s law office. In those days apprenticeship lasted for five years. His final exam, judicial exam, Dragoljub passes in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, as he opens a law office in Jug Bogdanova street. Soon he moves to Prizrenska Street where he stays untul the end of his career.
Genes made of law
Dragoljub had four sons. The oldest one, Mihajlo, begun his law career in 1955, having served his apprentice days in his father’s office. He, too, remained in law business until the end of his life. Following the call of the profession that had been written down in his genes, the oldest grandson, named after his grandad, Dragoljub Đorđević Jr, worked as an apprentice in his uncle Mihajlo’s office in 1980, and in 1982. became a member of ACB.
Further, Dragoljub’s oldest daughter, Jovana D. Đorđević Sijerić became an apprentice in 2008, and a lawyer in 2011. Second daughter, Tatjana D. Đorđević, enlists among apprentices in 2014, and among lawyers in 2018, while the youngest daughter, Katarina, serves apprenticeship in 2015, thus becoming a lawer in 2019.

Today, this renowned office has conducted all legal services in line with fundamental principles of European advocacy, paying respect to the profession as such. The office is truly dedicated to offering a high quality legal assistance to individuals and businesses, as well as other organizations in all legal matters. Dragoljub J. Đorđević
Partner
Dragoljub J. Đorđević is an attorney-at-law in Belgrade, a partner
in the law office Đorđević&Đorđević. He graduated from the Faculty
of Law in Belgrade in 1980, after which he became a trainee attorney
in the law office of his uncle Mihajlo. He was entered in the directory
of attorneys of the Belgrade Bar Association in 1982 and thus became
the third generation of attorneys in the family, preserving the tradition.

Jovana D. Đorđević Sijerić is an attorney in Belgrade and a partner in the law office Đorđević&Đorđević. She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade in 2008, after which she completed her internship in the law office of her father and expert Dragoljub. She was entered in the directory of attorneys of the Belgrade Bar Association in 2011.
