As one of the top lawyers in his class, Dragoljub obtained the Royal scholarship and graduated from math in France. Upon the graduation, he returns to the home country and as a very young man becomes a professor on the Merchant Academy in the Hilandarska street.
Having collided with the Academy management, Dragoljub leaves the job of a professor and in the shortest time finishes his law studies at the Univeristy of Law in Belgrade. In 1925. he is an apprentice in Duško Ilić’s law office. In those days apprenticeship lasted for five years. His final exam, judicial exam, Dragoljub passes in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, as he opens a law office in Jug Bogdanova street. Soon he moves to Prizrenska Street where he stays untul the end of his career.
